About Us
Ours is a quiet lake community which offers the most beautiful sunrises, sunsets, and rural mountain farmland views. Mallard Baye is located just off Lakeshore Drive on the north side of Cherokee Lake in Eastern Tennessee. While we are secluded enough to maintain our country charm, the cities of Rutledge, Bean Station, Morristown, Jefferson City, and Knoxville are only a short drive away.
Cherokee Lake is controlled by the Tennessee Valley Authority and is a great place for outdoor recreation for the entire family.
Our weather is relatively mild with average summer temperatures in the upper 80's to low 90's, and an average winter temperature in the mid to upper 40's. Snow accumulations are rare.
